Narrative Description
This short film follows two artists, Marisa Musing and Mohamed Mussa (Stillblue), around on typical days of activity. It focusses on an important aspect of the artistic process, regarding routine and mindful practices, within a hectic city like London. The film explores the Victorian Architecture that is scattered all over London. It is a small story of a continual presence, awareness and curiosity that one can have within a busy urban environment. The pleasure and serenity is in the art of noticing.
Production Description
The whole film was shot on a Black Magic Pocket Cinema in 4K. Both 24 mm and 14mm lenses were used. The film was shot over a period of 2 days, since we shot many different locations all over London. We did the outside shots around Holborn and the residential scenes in Islington and Bethnal Green. Special thanks to Alec Temple allowing us to shoot at his home.
